Ubisoft RADAR is dedicated to supporting local video game entrepreneurs by uncovering, financing, and giving a leg up to games created by independent studios in Quebec.

The Ubisoft Indie Series presented by National Bank is an annual competition for independent game developers in Quebec and Ontario. Ubisoft provides financing, mentorship, and creative and financial tools to help local studios and their games reach new heights.

Ubisoft’s studios in Montreal, Quebec City, and Saguenay work with more than 350 Quebec companies from all business sectors and of all sizes, including 85 creative technology companies, to enrich the lives of gamers. We are proud to work with Audiokinetic, Illogika, Keywords Studio, Turbulent, Meduzarts, Fly Studio, Supertoast Production Dialogue, Studio Lounak and Squeeze Studio Animation, among others, with whom we have enjoyed many a fruitful collaboration.

As a leader in Quebec’s creative technology industry, Ubisoft wants to invest by providing companies with the financial means they need to grow, achieve their goals, and expand internationally.
Ubisoft RADAR provides mentoring and flexible financing to independent creators in Quebec. This $10 million fund supports and accelerates projects at three key stages of development.
With an investment of five million dollars, Ubisoft joined forces with Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec, Fonds de solidarité FTQ, Investissement Québec, and the Business Development Bank of Canada to create the White Star Capital (WSC) investment fund for Quebec’s creative technology businesses.
