Ubisoft Saguenay is stepping into the big leagues with a major partnership and the first time spearheading a project: NFL Primetime Fantasy, an innovative, social, and free fantasy football experience.
Announced on Thursday by Ubisoft, in collaboration with the National Football League (NFL) and the National Football League Players Association (NFLPA), the mobile app will immerse fans and their friends in the heart-pounding action of NFL games. Users will be able to make decisions as the live games unfold, both during the regular season and the playoffs.

Conceived and developed by a passionate team of NFL fans and fantasy football enthusiasts at Ubisoft, NFL Primetime Fantasy found the perfect partner in Ubisoft Saguenay. The studio quickly made a name for itself as the ideal leader to carry this project across the goal line, in close collaboration with the talented team at Ubisoft Montréal.
Harnessing a distinctive vision and expertise in crafting social and interconnected gaming experiences, Ubisoft Saguenay has infused six years of valuable insights into the creation of NFL Primetime Fantasy.
“NFL Primetime Fantasy is the ideal project for the Saguenay studio, allowing us to combine our know-how with our extensive knowledge of online systems and real-life events in a gaming context. By joining forces with various Ubisoft teams, we’ve taken the level of interaction between live game data and player choices to the next level. It’s an immersive and social experience that aligns with our studio’s ethos and ambitions,” shares Jimmy Boulianne, managing director of Ubisoft Saguenay.
From the studio’s team of 110, nearly 30 talented developers are currently assigned to this ambitious endeavour, working in concert with about 15 members from Ubisoft Montréal and a host of other global collaborators. The team is set to grow even further in the upcoming months.
