Erin Roach
Diversity & Inclusion Director for the Canadian Studios

She previously worked with the Diversity Institute at Ryerson University as Executive Director, where she oversaw 40+ projects aimed at building a more diverse and inclusive economy. She led a team of 100+ cross-functional staff conducting action-oriented research with partners in Canada including Black Business & Professional Association, Pride at Work Canada, Canadian Council for Aboriginal Business, SheEO, Technation and the Incubate Innovate Network of Canada. She has also worked with tech and innovation leaders (e.g. Rogers Communications and Canada Innovation Superclusters) to develop D&I strategies and action plans that advance sustainable change.

Erin Roach co-led the establishment of two national knowledge sharing networks, the Women Entrepreneurship Knowledge Hub and the Future Skills Centre and is a board member for Pride at Work Canada where she also chairs their Thought Leadership Committee.

Erin’s passion for diversity and inclusion is rooted in her education, which focused on critical studies of language, power, gender, race, sexuality and migration, as well as her early career work with un/under-employed newcomers to Canada and her own experiences facing multiple barriers to inclusion and belonging at work. She has turned this passion into a career dedicated to promoting diversity and creating inclusive workplaces where everyone can reach their full potential.

Erin is based in Toronto and she is fluent in French and in English.

Outside of work, she loves camping, playing soccer and exploring worlds through role playing games and Magic the Gathering.

Please join us in welcoming her to Ubisoft!
