Ubisoft offers free games for cultural and educational institutions through the Ubisoft Play to Learn program

Today, Ubisoft announced that it is offering free educational games through its Ubisoft Play to Learn initiative. Four games from Ubisoft’s catalog are now available for free to librarians, teachers & Education professionals.

Rabbids Coding!, Discovery Tour: Ancient Egypt, Valiant Hearts: The Great War and Anno 1602: History Edition are the first games available through this program. Rabbids Coding! introduces children to coding in a fun and engaging way, and Discovery Tour: Ancient Egypt, Valiant Hearts: The Great War and Anno 1602: History Edition offer players the opportunity to become immersed in different periods in history.

In-Game Charity Sponsorship Group Manager Mickaël Newton said,

Video games are a dynamic and interactive way to help players develop skills and knowledge. For example, we work with teachers who use Discovery Tour in their classroom to teach history. The Ubisoft Play to Learn program allows us to take this a step further and offer an engaging and innovative learning experience to a wider audience through our games.”
