Back to the studio celebrations

Life at Ubi

The last few weeks have been synonymous with festivities for our employees!

As part of the second phase of the Mile End (Re)united for the hood project, an initiative that aims to encourage local businesses, many initiatives with a local flavor have been created to celebrate the partial and voluntary return to the studio (while respecting health rules and social distancing).

To get the day off to a good start, our employees enjoyed coffee from Café Faro, pastries from Guillaume’s bakery and St-Viateur bagels.

The Mile End restaurants were also in the spotlight during the Midi Mile End, where everyone was able to enjoy a meal at a reduced price in one of the neighborhood’s favorite places: Banh Mi Banh Yiu, Bibiko, Café Falco, Camila, Chez ta Mère, Boulangerie Guillaume, Lloydies, Maria Bonita, Pizzeria Toni, Bishop & Bagg, Siboire, Smile Restaurant, Ta Chido, Ubi Sushi et Falafel Yoni.

Taking breaks is essential! Especially when you can enjoy a manicure with The Ten Spot, a hair refreshment with The Regulars hairdressers, or relax with a massage from the Espace Nomad.

And to brighten up the days, live concerts throughout the studio were organized in collaboration with Pop Montréal. The tiny concerts were also shared on our internal networks. Everyone was able to attend performances by Jonathan Personne, Janette King, TEKE::TEKE and Waahli, from the comfort of the studio or working from home.

To conclude these festive weeks, we have collaborated with Bonsound, to welcome on our famous roof terrace Plants & Animals and Laurence-Anne in the first part.

To finish, a draw to spoil our employees took place, in collaboration with various merchants of the district :

We love our neighbourhood, the Mile End, which makes our workplace a great place to live. We encourage you to consume locally in order to support your local merchants during these tumultuous times.
