Each year, our studio welcomes the participants of the Summer School on Creativity and Innovation Management, organized by Mosaïc. During a full afternoon, the 70 students, searchers, managers, consultants, from diverse sectors, gather in our offices to learn about our ways of doing things, about the specifics aspects of our industry, and to reflect on the challenges of all techno-creative company.
Ubisoft Montréal is a founding partner of this multidisciplinary platform for research and training in the field of creativity and innovation management, created is 2007. But our collaboration with HEC goes back further in time. As early as 1998, Laurent Simon, today Associate Professor and Co-director of Mosaïc, integrated our teams and observed our production universe in order to write his doctoral thesis. This analysis was the genesis of our long and rewarding relationship with HEC and the academic world.
Since then, our many collaborations have enabled us to share our common issues and to develop mutually rewarding initiatives. Such as our Creative Management Training Program, for example, in which more than 500 of our employees have participated in over the last 9 years.
The Summer School on Management of Creativity is also the fruit of this collaboration. The strength of this initiative lies in its ability to bring together students, researchers, creators and peers to share experiences, inspirations, ideas, and to nourish each other. Each year, two of our employees have the chance to participate in the program, which also brings them in Barcelona, to meet companies and compare our practices.
