The holiday season always rhymes with celebrations at the Ubisoft Montreal studio – twice over! Employees get the traditional holiday party, which is well known, but the little ones also have their own party to mark the end of this year in hybrid mode.
Mount-Regal and Its Inhabitants Enchant the Children
This year, the theme of our celebration for the little ones made many people drool! It was in a universe created from scratch for Ubisoft families that we welcomed you on Saturday, December 4. Three hundred and twenty-five families gathered at Mount-Regal and participated in the ten or so activities presented – including the presence of the very flamboyant Barbada! The activity was accompanied by magical dice filled with surprises and activities, a total of 714 found refuge in the homes of our Ubi families.
Of course, Santa was not left out. Like everyone else, the friendly bearded man had to adapt to the new reality, but without sacrificing his annual meeting with the kids. A virtual meeting of the utmost importance for the 477 children he met.
A Mysterious Experience at the Clandestine Cabaret for Adults
Adults have nothing to envy the children, since a hybrid experience under the sign of mystery was offered to them, in two parts. A spellbinding immersive journey plunged our employees into a veritable fair of curiosities, inhabited by strange characters and unusual objects. This course invited participants to collect clues, objects and gourmet surprises (a cocktail with or without alcohol invented by the great Max Coubès!) that will be useful for the highlight of the celebrations: a multidisciplinary online show exclusive to the studio, where acrobats, contortionists and various artists have put our employees in awe. The artist Miss Me created a canvas inspired by the theme of the party before the amazed eyes of our community.
A huge congratulations to our teams in charge of the events who succeed each year in reinventing themselves, despite all the health constraints of the moment.
Collection of toy donations
A huge thank you to those who participated in the initiative! The unprecedented outpouring of generosity from our community made the studio elves lose count! Several hundred toys were donated to Mile End Mission for their Christmas event. The magic of the holidays will be spread to a hundred families in the neighbourhood thanks to this initiative that gives back to the next!
