Horia Merchi
Product Manager, Ubisoft IT’s Engineering and Platform team

As a Product Manager within Ubisoft IT’s Engineering and Platform team, Horia works to facilitate communication between users and the engineering team behind a service, making sure the developments are going to bring value to most of the users.

the PM’s duties start with the product fit work and the implementation of KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) to understand how the users consume the service. This helps to drive decisions, especially the ones related to prioritization. Afterwards, the product manager focuses on the roadmap defining priorities, the discovery to ensure smooth and consistent experience. A product Manager’s job doesn’t stop there, as they are also implicated in the development phase and the rollout phases within a project.

While the IT Platform users are mostly internal ones, the product manager ensures internal services needs are answered and cater to the specificities of their audience: the users are their colleagues; they need to foster a culture of working together.
