Ubisoft Game Lab Competition
Age group: University
Students have 10 weeks to deliver a playable video game prototype that follows the theme, guidelines, and constraints given by a jury of Ubisoft professionals. Each team can count on the support of two mentors from Ubisoft studios in Montreal, Quebec City, Saguenay and Sherbrooke. At the end of the competition, the jury selects winners in various categories and awards $22,000 in scholarships. Moreover, Ubisoft guarantees at least 10 internships or job opportunities to participants in the competition.

CTRL+F: Podcasts for tech-savvy youth
Age group: Primary
CTRL+F is a podcast series about science and technology. The series features six short episodes aimed at young people aged 8 to 12 and their parents.

Les jeunes décodent (Youg people decode)
Age group: Secondary
“Les jeunes décodent” is a 6-episode podcast series for 12 to 17-year-olds developed in collaboration with La puce à l’oreille. In each episode, Dahlia, Grace, Kenza and Danian, four tech-savvy teenagers, meet experts to explore new technologies that have a positive impact on pressing social and environmental issues.

Scholarships
Age group: University
Ubisoft’s scholarship program aims to encourage the most talented students from eight universities across Quebec along their academic path in STEM-related fields. Each year, Ubisoft offers over $70,000 in scholarships, half of which is reserved for female students.
Career Presentations
Age group: University
Each year, Ubisoft Montréal employees visit Quebec universities to present their academic and professional backgrounds, as well as a particular IT profession. This is an opportunity for students to discover the technology used at Ubisoft and to find internship or permanent employment opportunities in IT.
Paid internships
Age group: University
The studio offers numerous paid internships within its production teams all year long. Internships are veritable launching pads for careers, as they offer the chance for interns to perfect their expertise and develop a network within the largest video game studio in the world.
Parterships with student clubs
Age group: University
In order to find future talents, Ubisoft works closely with students, professors, and students clubs, such as women in engineering committees, to provide clarity and guidance to students who are interested in pursuing a career in STEM fields. Learn more by reading this interview.
