The launch of Youth Fusion’s video game creation project took place last Wednesday morning in the Ville-Marie room. This project is part of the 12 initiatives proposed by the Codex program, in support of future generations and student retention.
Youth Fusion challenged high school students to participate in the video game creation project. In teams, the participants must develop a video game and pass through all the game creation and promotion stages, while integrating notions from their other studies like math and history. The high school students benefit from regular follow-ups with Ubisoft mentors and are also supported by university student coordinators trained by the studio employees.
About 100 students, dignitaries and Ubisoft employees gathered to lay the foundations of the project and to unveil this year’s theme: New-France.
