The Montreal International Game Summit (MIGS) took place this week at the Palais des Congrès. This year, the great Quebecois video game gathering took place over the course of three days. The Ubisoft booth stood at the heart of the exposition, represented by its four Canadian studios.
Participants had the chance to play Assassin’s Creed Syndicate and try out For Honor in its great Canadian premiere, to meet our recruiters and hear several Ubisoft guests such as Clint Hocking, Jason Vandenberghe, Nicolas Rioux and Gwenael Heliou share their stories and professional challenges during interviews animated by Denis Talbot.
In addition, eleven teams of four people competed in the For Honor tournament. Two teams from Algonquin College (Ontario) faced off in the end. The confident victors, Squad City, even challenged the game development team… and won!
Congratulations to our colleagues who participated during all three days of the expo!
